The Rain - Chapter one

I walked aimlessly, into places that I never recognise. From the barren desert, to an empty town. From a bustling city, to a quiet village. It was hard, life was hard, the journey was tough but all I had in mind, was to look for you. I have scoured a thousand miles, battling each and every weather that went against me like a storng current of soldiers rushing over me. None of these were able to stop me, from searching where you were then. The sun rose, painting the skies with strikes of orange and a wide spread of gold. I woke up, reminding me where I was. Oh, it's the desert. I stood up, breathed a considerable amount of cold air which fills up my lungs like I have never breathed before. The night was harsh, when tempertature dropped to a bone-biting 4 degree celsius at night. I had nothing on me, just a plain shirt with a plain pants. My shoes were ragged, my skin was dry. Hunger like a beast, biting the surface of my stomach's wall raged for 2 days. After all, I only ate 2 pieces of cactus stem, and that was 3 days ago. The pain and suffering, made me even more enthusiastic to look for you. it's worth the wait, it's worth of everything. I walked to a direction I never know was correct or wrong. Usually I headed East, to the side where the sun guided me along in the morning. I would usually walk for 7 hours, without stop. In the afternoon, the sun beat down upon me like a huge furnace behind my back. My clothes, drenched in sweat, created such an uncomfortable feeling that I had as I walked aimlessly. I could not take it anymore, I fell on my knees, cried, and fainted.
